When I first started coding, I was deeply fascinated by how websites worked — especially the visual, interactive elements on the front end. But as I explored further, I realized there was a whole other side of web development: the backend — the engine that powers everything behind the scenes.
In my journey as a web developer, diving into backend development opened up a whole new perspective on how web applications truly work. Through my first backend projects, I learned how to build APIs using Node.js and Express, manage data with databases like MongoDB and MySQL, and implement secure user authentication systems. These initial projects — including a to-do app, job portal, music upload system, and scholarship manager — helped me grasp essential backend concepts like routing, CRUD operations, middleware, and error handling. They laid a strong foundation for building full-stack applications and sparked my interest in more advanced backend technologies.
